Where to Start
To start your healing process, please call our Intake Specialist at 615-259-9055 ext. 335. This first step is a difficult one, but our knowledgeable and understanding staff members will obtain the necessary information to get you or your loved one the help needed to begin the healing journey.
Our intake process consists of a brief phone call followed by a face-to-face visit with the Intake Specialist, usually within the same week. This first session will be used to explore the type of service needed, talk to you about how SAC can best help you, obtain demographic information, offer appropriate referrals when necessary, and determine the best method of payment. SAC accepts most insurance plans and offers a sliding fee payment scale according to income. Grant funding is available for specific qualifying cases. We will not turn anyone away for lack of ability to pay. Once the initial intake is completed, an appointment with a therapist will be scheduled.
A 24-Hour Crisis Line is available for immediate assistance and is operated by trained volunteers and staff. Please call 1-800-879-1999 for Crisis Line services.
