At SAC, we are dedicated to caring and helping people recover from sexual assault and abuse. We provide a safe, healing environment so our clients can express feelings and be understood.
Our therapists are Masters and Doctorate level and offer the best care available in Middle Tennessee for sexual assault survivors. They can help someone in pain to restart his or her life, and they construct the best treatment plan for each individual. SAC therapists have specialized training in the treatment of sexual assault. In addition, each therapist is either licensed or working toward licensure. Their knowledge and skills range from training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play Therapy, and Hypnotherapy, to Alcohol and Drug Abuse treatment.
Since the Center was founded in 1978, more than 15,000 adults and children have been treated for the trauma associated with sexual violence.
